What this track covers
This track covers ultrasound-guided vascular access from anatomy through procedure, including peripheral IV placement in difficult-access patients, central venous line insertion at internal jugular, subclavian, and femoral sites, and arterial cannulation. It also addresses in-plane versus out-of-plane needle visualization and troubleshooting difficult access from obesity, edema, or thrombosed vessels.
What you will practice
