This track covers musculoskeletal imaging interpretation, from normal joint anatomy to common injury and disease patterns seen in practice. It emphasizes a systematic reading approach that carries across modalities, so findings on MRI, CT, and ultrasound are evaluated with the same clinical framework.
What you will practice
- Work through normal joint anatomy on MRI, CT, and ultrasound before tackling pathology
- Distinguish ligament tears from tendon pathology using consistent imaging criteria
- Recognize common fracture patterns and describe them in standardized terms
- Differentiate arthritis patterns from bone tumors and metabolic bone disease
- Correlate imaging findings with clinical presentation to support a working diagnosis
Simulator scenario
A patient presents after a twisting knee injury during sport, and the simulator walks through history-taking, imaging selection, and interpretation to reach a working diagnosis.
