This track covers trauma-informed care principles and the neurobiology of trauma, structured PTSD assessment including screening tools and differential diagnosis, and treatment planning that spans psychotherapy referral and pharmacologic management. It also addresses complex trauma presentations, common comorbidities, and considerations for special populations.
What you will practice

Simulator scenario
A timed case where the virtual patient presents with re-experiencing symptoms and avoidance behaviors after a motor vehicle accident, requiring the clinician to screen, form a differential, and outline a treatment plan.
