This track covers patient selection, device fit, alert thresholds, and how to turn a stream of remote data into timely clinical decisions.

What you will practice

  • Match a device type (BP cuff, glucometer/CGM, pulse oximeter, scale) to a patient's condition and monitoring goal
  • Set clinically meaningful alert thresholds instead of default device settings
  • Distinguish an actionable trend from normal day-to-day variability in remote readings
  • Decide when a remote data pattern warrants a medication adjustment versus watchful waiting
  • Prioritize and triage a queue of incoming alerts from multiple patients
