What you will practice

Apply the Pediatric Assessment Triangle to identify a sick child at first glance
Select age-appropriate vital sign ranges and equipment sizes
Walk through PALS-style bradycardia, tachycardia, and pulseless arrest algorithms
Decide between IO and IV access when a child is deteriorating
Recognize when a seizure, respiratory distress, or fever pattern signals a true emergency
