What this track covers
This track covers the visual and functional language of cardiac imaging: echo views and Doppler assessment, CT coronary anatomy and calcium scoring, and MRI sequences including tissue characterization. It emphasizes structured interpretation and cross-modality correlation rather than isolated fact recall.
What you will practice
- Work through standard echo views and chamber measurements systematically
- Interpret color flow and spectral Doppler findings for valve gradients and diastolic function
- Grade coronary stenosis and calcium scoring on CT angiography
- Differentiate T1/T2, cine, and late gadolinium enhancement patterns on cardiac MRI
- Match a clinical question to the most appropriate imaging modality
Simulator scenario
A patient presenting with new dyspnea and an abnormal echo requires the clinician to sequence further imaging and integrate findings to narrow the differential.
