What this track covers
This track covers platelet-rich plasma preparation and its use in two common aesthetic applications: microneedling for facial skin regeneration and scalp injection for hair restoration. It addresses the underlying regenerative biology, preparation workflow, and how technique choices affect patient selection and expected treatment course.

- Sequencing blood draw, centrifugation, and PRP extraction steps
- Selecting microneedling depth and technique for different facial zones
- Comparing PRP injection versus topical application for scalp treatment
- Identifying patients who are poor candidates for PRP-based procedures
