It also addresses how hyaluronic acid filler characteristics — such as viscosity, G-prime, and cohesivity — influence product selection and technique choice for volume versus definition.
What you will practice
- Identifying vermilion border and Cupid's bow landmarks before planning injection points
- Mapping labial artery and vascular danger zones in the perioral region
- Comparing fanning, microdroplet, linear threading, and serial puncture techniques
- Matching filler rheology (viscosity, G-prime, cohesivity) to a desired lip outcome
- Assessing symmetry and structural balance relative to overall facial proportions
Simulator scenario
A virtual patient requesting subtle lip enhancement with mild pre-existing asymmetry, prompting the clinician to choose an injection technique and articulate a plan that addresses symmetry without overcorrecting.
